The pandemic of COVID-19 caused drastic changes to lives of people in most of the world. The intent behind the change is to contain the spread to a manageable scale. Since then, a lot of creative data visualizations that inform people about the projections of the spread, which also are projections of their futures. I want to list ten visualizations that I found informative and beautiful.

1 — The Rate of Deaths Increases for each Country by Financial Times

Financial Times illustrated the daily increases of confirmed cases and deaths for each major affected countries side by side to see which countries successfully slowed down the exponential growth of patients.

2 — Tests Given, Positives, and Deaths by Politico

Although we tend to focus on the growth of confirmed cases, it is important to see how many tests were given to know the spread trend, because many infected people don’t show any symptoms.
