In his iconic paintings, Jackson Pollock captured his hand movements with a series of strokes by dropping paint from his brushes. Throughout history, many artists have explored different expression techniques to portray humans and their motion. Today, with the accessibility of high end photo- and video-editing-tools and motion-capture-sensors, artists can compose vibrant, bold, and accurate strokes of colors which express human motion through photography or sometimes, video footage.

2 — Pixel Stretch by Joe Cavazos

Designer, Joe Cavasoz, developed a series, Pixel Stretch, using a simple but elegant technique in Photoshop to express energies emitted from subjects in still images, aiming to bring the focus back to the subject.
